IIT Kharagpur - Research Scholar
November 2006 to Present

Working under Prof. Ajit Pal (Dept. of Computer Sc. & Engineering) in the "Low Power Circuits and Systems" project which is being sponsored by Intel Corporation, USA. Currently working on energy optimization of reconfigurable processors.


Intel India Technology (P) Ltd., Bangalore - Graduate Intern (Technical)
May to October 2006

Completed a 5 months internship in the Low Power Team (Mobile Chipset Design) - Mobility Group India. Worked on the development of a new power model for dynamic power estimation of mobile memory controller hub.


IIT Kharagpur - Junior Project Assistant
July 2004 to April 2006

Worked under Prof. Ajit Pal (Dept. of Computer Sc. & Engineering) and Prof. Amit Patra (Dept. of Electrical Engineering) in the "Electrocardiogram (ECG) Acquisition, Processing & Monitoring System" project which was being sponsored by MHRD, New Delhi.


Advanced VLSI Lab, IIT Kharagpur - Summer Trainee
May to June 2005

Completed one month summer training on “Integrated Circuit Design” conducted by the Advanced VLSI Design Laboratory, IIT Kharagpur. Secured ‘A’ grade.


IIT Kharagpur - Visiting Student
January to May 2004

Undertook this traineeship in the 8th semester of B.Tech. Training in “Microcontrollers & Embedded System” under Prof. Ajit Pal. A microcontroller based ECG Signal Acquisition & Monitoring system was implemented. This system acquires ECG signal from a standard 12 lead analog ECG machine. The acquired signal is displayed on an oscilloscope for local monitoring purpose. The data can be transmitted to a local computer only through serial port.


Center of Electronics Design & Technology of India, Calicut (Kerela) - Summer Trainee
June to July 2003

Undertook this traineeship at the end of 6th semester of B.Tech. Training in “Designing with 8 bit and 16 bit Microcontrollers”. The programme covered architecture, programming and interfacing of 8051, PIC and 80196 microcontrollers. Each module included one mini project.


Bohniman Systems (P) Ltd., Guwahati (Assam) - Trainee
January 2003

Undertook this traineeship at the end of 5th semester of B.Tech. Completed a module for hosting and access control of documents published on an enterprise’s portal using VBScript, VB ASP and HTML.


SkyTECH Solutions (P) Ltd., Kolkata (West Bengal) - Summer Trainee
July to August 2002

Undertook this traineeship at the end of 4th semester of B.Tech. I was introduced to Software Engineering Concepts and was associated with the analysis phase of an Automated Quality Management System software project.
